Saw something that made you go wait, what? Here's how to send a good one.
What makes a good submission
- Real and, ideally, sourced — a link, receipt, sign, screenshot, or public record.
- Absurd, funny, or quietly baffling. The everyday bureaucratic mysteries count.
- American in flavor — the HOA letter, the fee, the fine print, the local-news moment.
Please don't send
- Private personal information — full addresses, license plates, phone numbers, medical records.
- Anything involving minors, graphic violence, harassment, or targeting a private individual.
- Content you don't have the right to share.
How it works
Verifiable is better. We may edit submissions for clarity, length, and tone, and not everything gets published. Items without a usable source may be marked UNVERIFIED or skipped. If you mark a submission publishable, you're giving us permission to post and caption it. If your submission involves a private individual, blur or remove identifying details before sending.
